Linden CPF Art Activism Campaign – A Resounding Success

The Linden Community Policing Forum (CPF), together with SAPS Linden and our community partners, Cresta Mall and Linden Meanders, proudly hosted the Art Activism Campaign during the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence 2025.

Art Activism proved to be more than just a campaign — it became a living, breathing visual platform for reflection, awareness, and collective action. Our community came together to imagine the kind of society we want to build: one grounded in dignity, safety, kindness, and respect.

Through paintings, drawings, collages, photographs, and mixed media artworks, participants shifted the focus from what we are fighting against to what we are standing for: kindness, hope, courage, care, and unity.

Artworks were created and donated by community members, families, NGOs, and individuals of all ages — from toddlers to seniors.
The Cresta Mall Art Wall became a vibrant tapestry of shared dreams, filled with color, emotion, and a powerful message.
Together, we showed that art can be a powerful tool for advocacy, healing, and awareness, and that our community stands strong in its commitment to ending violence and building safe, caring spaces for all.

Thank you to every participant, partner, volunteer and supporter who made this campaign a success.
